We walked into Wonderful Ecuador on our first day in Banos after reading recommendations and within minutes had sorted activities for all 3 days with the help of Angel. We rented bikes for the Ruta de Cascadas and Angel helped with all the information we would need. We then went Whitewater rafting which was so much fun and completely unlike any other rafting we have done. We were well led by Papucho and had good transportation and guidance.
We then did canyoning with Jonny who was so kind and patient. We felt completely safe with him and would recommend to anyone.
Including photos and videos for the rafting and canyoning is also great as you so often get charged extra.

We took the Ruta de Cascadas with their bike and also did a Canoying tour with them. Both really good, equipment also fine and no issues by returning.
We have just come back from an amazing trip down the Rita de las Cascadas using bikes we rented from Wonderful Ecuador (for $10 for the day) which was recommended by our hostel. This was definitely the best way to see the waterfalls and some of rural Ecuador. The staff here were super efficient and helpful and spoke good English (our Spanish is not good!). The bikes were sturdy and had good gears - there were a few slight uphill parts on the way. We stopped a few times on the route, locked the bikes up and trekked to the waterfalls. No problem leaving the bikes. We had lovely weather and it was great that we could get a lift back to Baños rather than having to cycle back up hill! There was a truck waiting to take us back, unconnected with Wonderful Equador, just for $4 each as there were only 3 of us in the truck. Thoroughly recommend Wonderful Equador for providing the bikes for this great trip!
We rented bikes to do the ruta de las cascadas. They bikes were in very good shape. we also got a lock and a pump. They were very organized, with online maps.
We had such a fun morning abseiling down an incredible waterfall. Our guide was amazing, demonstrating everything clearly and ensuring we felt as safe as possible. The waterfall is beautiful, with stunning landscapes of the lush green mountains in Baños. Our guide took lots of photos and videos so that we could just enjoy the experience and leave our phones safely at the bottom. You get the chance to abseil, slide and jump down the beautiful, powerful waterfalls. All gear was provided, including wetsuits and water shoes. Would highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Baños.
Wonderful service! They speak good English and everything you need to ride safely and lock your bike when visiting the waterfalls or zip lining is included. They're open until 8 PM so there's no need to rush through the day. If you have a mechanical issue, they'll come fix it or replace the bike, whatever it takes!
Great company, I did 3 tours with them (Ctopaxi, bike and rafting) and all of them were flawless - very responsive and great communication. Highly recommended !
My wife and I visited Baños in late July 2025 and we can highly recommend Wonderful Ecuador for your activities!
First, we rented bikes here to do the Ruts de las Cascadas. The bikes are well suited for the landscape and were in a good shape, allowing us to do the tour easily. The price was very fair: we paid 7$ per bike (this already included a helmet and chain) for the medium-level bikes.
Second, after our good first impression, we booked rafting with the agency. We paid 30$ pP. Everything worked perfectly as well and the rafting was lots of fun & adrenaline.
The manager speaks some English and was very helpful. Overall, a great experience!

Jess was great for renting the bikes and then suggested the rafting. Darius was fabulous on the raft ! Lots of fun with the whole team. Very good at what they do.
Would highly recommend! The staff was so genuine and hilarious. They made the experience so much more fun and enjoyable. I also did the bungee jump with them and they talked me through the whole thing.
Really enjoyed the cycling tour to Rio Verde. Great time. Awesome views and great to get some exercise in. Great places to eat or have coffee in Rio Verde.
Did a canyoning and rafting tour with them, both good times, exactly as advertised. The owner knocked a couple of bucks off a bike rental for me because I'd done a tour with them which was appreciated.
The people at Wonderful Ecuador are amazing. We met them first when renting a bike for the waterfall ride. The bikes were in good condition. The weather was not good, though! After riding for hours in the rain, we caught the bus back and were greeted with hot tea to warm us up! After that we booked a rafting and canyoning trip and both were amazing! To end our time in Banos, we booked a ride to Tena. Our driver was friendly and knowledgeable about Ecuador and I loved chatting with him most of the drive. This is the best travel company in Banos!
We used Wonderful Ecuador for several different tours while we were in Baños and they were all AMAZING!!! We only speak limited Spanish, so we were so relieved that many people from Wonderful Ecuador spoke great English and were able to answer our questions and help us book our trips. We had went to a few other companies first that weren’t very helpful, so after finding the nice and friendly people at Wonderful Ecuador, we used them to book all of our tours! We had once in a lifetime trips doing canyoning, biking the waterfalls and the full day jungle tour! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company, they’re the best you will find in Baños!!
My friend and I had an amazing canyoning adventure in Baños with Renaldo! He was a super fun and helpful guide who was very good at explaining each step and answering our questions. His English is really good too. We felt very safe and had so much fun! Such an incredible experience and I would highly recommend this company (and Renaldo as a guide) to other travelers.

The bike was not the newest, but it was in good condition for doing the Ruta de las Cascadas. I got a lock, helmet und equipment for fixing a flat tire. And it is probably the cheapest in town for this service.

The guide was Roberto. He really took his time to explain everything and to make sure everything is safe. He also gave a lot of tips for the climbing and afterwards also recommendations for the city. I really enjoyed that.

Flying above the Canyon was a big fun. There is a route of 6 Ziplines. 2 you do Superman-like, 2 you do normal, and with the other 2 you can do them either normal or upside down like Spiderman. Minus one point for beeing very short (in total it was less than 90 Minutes (including transport) and the harness was not very comfortable.

The rafting trip with the crew of Papucho was the best activity I did in Baños. He did a tremendous job in making it a nice experience for everyone. Really, do it!

We did the Extreme Canyoning in Banos as a group of 5 and loved it! Only thing is I wish it was longer, it was so much fun. Our driver was Angel and our guides were Alex and Liz. All the staff we interacted with were super fun and easy going. The gear was really good quality and the guides were amazing. Highly recommend. They also went out if their way to get some of our group to and from their hostel. Such a fun group. Thank you Wonderful Ecuador team for an awesome experience.
We had a great time canyoning with guides Alex and Liz. They had a really positive fun energy which made the experience really enjoyable. Our driver Angel was really fun and were had a great laugh with him. Last but not least Jessy on the counter was very helpful with organising everything.
Organised bikes here and was very good price. Then organised a bridge jump for the next day. Good communication and prices for both.
Absolutely loved the canyoning tour! Our guide Matteo (chivito) was very good and made us feel safe and happy the whole tour! The equipment and wetsuits was in very good condition and you could feel the quality of the company.
All in all a very fun and exciting tour, sometimes scary but never unsafe.

Angel is incredible. I always felt safe in his car. He was funny, knowledgeable and kind.
Edison is the best driver! Highly recommend him for any shuttle services and sightseeing - took us to Quilotoa and was very accommodating and knowledgeable
Great service and good bike. We rent two bikes for one day to do the ruta de las cascadas. The agency not only provided us good bikes with emergency kit but also a map of the road and good advice. In addition they keep our luggage while we were on the road. Would definitely recommend!!!
We rented bikes here which were perfect for the ruta de cascadas and then we did a trip up to Chimborazo with Angel as well which was excellent as well. The local Quichua guide who guided us up on Chimborazo was also super as the descent down on bikes. If you want an authentic wonderful experience with friendly local people look no further.
I have rented a bike here for 5$. They give you a map where to go, also a pump, if you get a flat tire and a lock.
It is such a nice way to explore the area and the route they suggested wasn't difficult at all.
When you get at the last waterfall (15km) further, you can get a ride back if you want.
They also offer many other tours, but i didn't do them yet😉.
